Professional supply procurement Design concept
Imdad
An Arabic professional catalogue connecting specification comparisons, RFQs, quoted costs and explicit approvals.
We designed Imdad as a fictional Shuwaikh supplier serving clinics in Salmiya and Hawally. Professional purchasing needed more than a general shop: buyers must understand specifications, pack units and quantities before reviewing a quotation with colleagues. The study joins a technical catalogue, RFQ and review interface containing products, terms, approval and delivery in one coherent record.

Project brief
A fictional professional catalogue and procurement client with RFQs and approval review for sample clinics.
Design scope
- Arabic identity and specification comparison tables
- Catalogue and quantified RFQ
- Quotation review and approval flow
01 / The project challenge
The project challenge
Product names do not explain glove material, size or pieces per box. Confusing box and piece prices produces inaccurate requests, while buyer notes disappear in separate quotation files. Adding a product to an RFQ is distinct from ordering it, and reviewing specifications is distinct from approving costs and delivery. Each step exposes the information its decision-maker needs without patient or treatment data.
02 / The solution we designed
The solution we designed
The catalogue compares material, size, pack unit and reference, with focused category filters. An RFQ sidebar holds requested quantities and sizes. The supplier quotation turns them into unit prices and line amounts, keeping delivery and terms separate. Approval shows who reviewed specifications and who still needs to authorize the budget, alongside the clinic address and proposed delivery.
03 / The experience
The experience
Rashed Al Dosari reviews a fictional Salmiya clinic request: twenty medium nitrile-glove boxes at 6.500 KD, ten mask boxes at 2.750, and six protective-gown packs at 4.250. Line values are 130.000, 27.500 and 25.500, totaling 183.000 KD. Delivery adds 7.500, making 190.500. Rashed checks pack units, records the specification review and sends the quote to the purchasing manager for budget approval rather than marking it complete prematurely.
04 / What it could do
What it could do
Comparable packs
Material, size, pieces per box and references are aligned for equivalent comparisons.
Specific RFQs
Each product retains quantity, size and requested date; submission requests a quote rather than confirming purchase.
Coherent quotations
Unit prices, line values, delivery and total are explicit, without invented tax charges.
Clear approvals
Specification review, budget approval, quote validity and delivery location identify the current owner and next action.
05 / A typical journey

Imdad uses navy, white and decisive orange review actions with a balanced industrial Arabic wordmark. Precisely aligned tables resemble a practical procurement document while retaining comfortable reading. Small product-pack photographs match the actual catalogue items. Written states such as waiting for approval are explicit. References, units and quantities distinguish this professional product from an individual pharmacy-shopping experience.
