Laundry and collection services Design concept
Al Naqaa Garment Care
A web and mobile laundry service organizing garments, collection, care and delivery across Kuwaiti neighborhoods with clear estimates and appointments.
We designed Al Naqaa Garment Care for a laundry service working in Salmiya, Hawalli and Jabriya. The experience explains service type, expected garments, collection window and how counts are reviewed after inspection.

Project brief
A fictional laundry service needs an Arabic booking and tracking journey with clear garments, appointments and estimates.
Design scope
- Booking and garment-service page
- Order-tracking app
- Arabic identity and collection-to-delivery journey
01 / The project challenge
The project challenge
A laundry order contains different garments and care requirements, not just a total. Customers may want a shirt washed, another item pressed and a suit cleaned carefully. Staff also need an address, a practical arrival window and notes that survive the handover from booking to driver. The brief asked for a useful estimate without presenting an unverified final invoice, and for separate collection and delivery stages instead of one ambiguous in-progress status.
02 / The solution we designed
The solution we designed
Garment-level services include simple quantities and care notes, followed by address, collection window and delivery preference. The KWD summary shows service and delivery charges and explains that quantities are checked after collection. Tracking separates confirmation, pickup, inspection, care and delivery. Mobile focuses on the current order, next appointment, updates and contact action rather than repeating the long booking form. Status changes follow defined events and remain readable without relying only on color.
03 / The experience
The experience
A customer adds four shirts and one suit with a care note, chooses a Salmiya address and a Sunday collection from 6 to 8 pm, then reviews estimated garment and delivery charges. After pickup, the app shows five confirmed items and an expected return date. Any addition requiring approval stays visible in the summary. The customer can review the latest update or discuss access without describing the full order on every call.

07 / Design direction
Design direction
Mint green, clean white and carefully drawn garment icons express everyday care without artificial laundry photography or game-like effects. Web supports preparing an order; mobile supports following it during the day. Amounts and counts remain legible, and appointments explicitly say collection or delivery. Language becomes more detailed only when reviewing an order, and concise again when reporting its next stage.
