Property discovery and viewing requests Design concept

Sakan Real Estate

An Arabic property experience connecting photographs, location and practical home details to a clear viewing request.

We designed Sakan Real Estate for a Salmiya property office in a fictional Kuwaiti client study. A family looking for a home and an agent coordinating photographs, calls and viewings shaped the brief. The resulting experience connects the property, neighborhood and appointment record, keeping a viewing request distinct from the office’s confirmation.

Project brief

A fictional property office needing an Arabic experience for apartment discovery, home details and viewing requests.

Design scope

  • Arabic identity and property search
  • Property page, map and floor plan
  • Companion viewing app

The project challenge

An attractive photograph does not answer every housing question: entrance location, parking, room arrangement and what the rental includes all matter. In the initial scenario photographs arrived before location details, and appointment changes stayed in conversations that other staff could not see. The office needed comparable listings, one reference for each apartment and an explicit appointment state so a request could not be mistaken for an agreed visit.

The solution we designed

Search results use area, home type, bedrooms and monthly budget. Each card has its own photographs, reference, floor area and Kuwaiti dinar price. The map shows a readable neighborhood street network rather than decorative blocks. The apartment page connects living-room, bedroom and kitchen photographs to a floor plan with corridors, doors and balcony access. Choosing a viewing day and time produces a request awaiting the office’s confirmation.

The experience

Noura Al Azmi searches Salmiya for two bedrooms below 700 KD per month. Apartment U-024 has 124 square meters, two bathrooms, covered parking and a balcony at 650 KD monthly. After comparing its photographs and location she requests Thursday, 22 October 2026 at 5 pm. The companion app shows Awaiting office confirmation and preserves entrance details and visit questions without presenting the request as an approved appointment.

What it could do

01

Search around the decision

Area, budget, home type and bedrooms stay visible while moving between the list and map.

02

Complete property detail

Distinct photographs, dimensions, a readable plan, parking and services separate known facts from questions for the office.

03

Explicit viewing states

A selected slot creates a request; waiting and confirmed appointments are deliberately different states.

04

Companion visit screen

The apartment reference, entrance, time, notes and questions stay together for the visit.

A typical journey

  1. Set the requirements

Choose an area, budget and bedrooms, then compare listings with independent photographs and details.

  2. Understand the home

Inspect rooms, plan and location before requesting a visit.

  3. Request a viewing

Choose a time and contact details, with confirmation explicitly assigned to the office.

  4. Prepare for the visit

Follow the appointment state and retain entrance details and questions on the mobile screen.

Inside the interface

Explore the Arabic web interfaces and companion app. The screens share a consistent identity and Kuwaiti sample workflows.

Design direction

A simple location mark and architectural lines define Sakan Real Estate. Warm stone, restrained black, white space and realistic contemporary Kuwaiti apartment photographs form a quiet editorial identity. Arabic headings give the brand character while prices and filters stay direct. Maps provide useful neighborhood detail. The companion app preserves the same identity and concentrates on appointment follow-up instead of shrinking the entire desktop page.
